Payment & Insurance
Everything you need to know about costs, coverage, and financial assistance.
Currently, we accept only major cards for consultations and visits, no cash payment but we are actively working to be able to accept major insurances in the near future. We can provide you with a consultation bill upon request, which you may submit to your insurance for reimbursement. However, we cannot guarantee that your insurance will cover or reimburse the service. Our services are reasonably priced and transparent.
Our pricing is straightforward with no hidden fees:
- Initial Physician visit: $200
- Follow-up Physician visit: $125
- Initial Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker visit: $150 (45 mins) / $175 (60 mins)
- Recovery Specialist services: $50/hour
Yes, in most cases. Medications like buprenorphine (Suboxone), naltrexone (Vivitrol), and methadone are covered by most insurance plans as medically necessary. Our team navigates prior authorizations and appeals on your behalf to minimize delays in getting you the medications you need.
Yes. Addiction treatment services are qualified medical expenses under both Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA). You can use them to cover your out-of-pocket treatment costs, including therapy, medications, and program fees.
Your privacy is protected by strict federal law. Under HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2, your treatment information cannot be shared with your employer or anyone else without your explicit written consent.
What to Expect
A clear picture of the treatment journey, from first contact to lasting recovery.
You are encouraged to complete an intake form at least 24 hours before your visit. This helps our care team prepare a more personalized experience for you from the moment you arrive.
For your initial appointment, whether in-person or online, a valid Government-issued ID must be presented and kept on file. For subsequent appointments, identification may be requested for verification at the discretion of the provider.
Your first appointment is a comprehensive evaluation. Our physician will conduct:
- A thorough medical history and a virtual physical assessment
- Establishment of a diagnosis
- Screening for co-occurring mental health conditions
- Review of your personal goals and circumstances
- Lab work if MAT is indicated
By the end of your first visit, you will have a clear, individualized treatment plan. Most first appointments are 60 minutes long.
For conditions involving substances, we would require drug testing at the clinical discretion of the providers. These results are used strictly as clinical data points to drive the treatment plan.
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is an evidence-based tenet of modern addiction medicine. For opioid use disorder, buprenorphine or naltrexone can significantly reduce cravings and overdose risk. However, medication is never forced — the decision is always made collaboratively with you. We incorporate other treatment modalities whenever possible.
As with most medical conditions, treatment requires at least one payor in the form of an insurance company, a patient or both. However, because of the severity of the losses and financial strain associated with an ongoing substance use disorder, recovery has been established as a cheaper alternative.
Not necessarily. Many patients continue working during outpatient treatment. Our flexible scheduling — including evening and virtual appointment options — is designed to accommodate working adults.
Because addiction is recognized as a chronic relapsing condition, we do not discharge or penalize patients for return to use. We would instead partner with you to review the circumstances that may have contributed to the return to use and use the lessons learned to strengthen the recovery process.
Yes — with your consent. Family support is one of the strongest predictors of successful recovery. We offer family education sessions, and resources for loved ones upon request.
What Not to Expect
Setting the record straight on common misconceptions about addiction treatment.
Absolutely not. Because the providers at Rebuild Healthcare recognize that the brain neurochemistry is altered by substances, not a moral failing, we manage substance use disorders like we would any other chronic medical condition.
You will find out that at Rebuild Healthcare we are interested in managing the whole individual. Therefore every treatment plan is individualized and tailored with consideration for your specific substance(s), medical and mental history, social determinants of health and personal goals.
No. We recognize that participation in groups like 12-step programs and SMART Recovery are evidence-based recovery tools. While we do not at this time offer group programs, we can help you find the right one for you.
Because we are passionate about recovery, we do not initiate full-agonist opioids, benzodiazepines or indefinitely continue prescriptions for people already on them. We will only provide medications for opioid use disorder and benzodiazepine tapers.
While we recognize the growing evidence for the clinical utility of psychedelics like ketamine in substance use care, we do not at this time prescribe them.

Yes. At this time, we offer only HIPAA-compliant telehealth appointments accessible from any device with a camera and internet connection for all of our services.
Our standard hours are Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time for all the time zones we operate in. For emergencies, please call 911. For the 988 Crisis Lifeline, call or text 988.
You would require a valid government-issued photo ID and a credit card for payment. A list of current medications and supplements, relevant medical records and prior treatment history would be helpful during the first visit.
Frequency of appointments is purely a clinical-driven decision. Because we recognize that the risk of return to use is highest during the early stages of recovery, we tend to encourage shorter intervals between visits early in the recovery process and lengthen those intervals as time goes on.
