Ezioma Gbujie
MD, MPH, MBA
Board-Certified in Internal Medicine & Addiction Medicine
Dr. Ezioma Gbujie MD, MPH, MBA is a board-certified Internal and Addiction Medicine specialist with over a decade of experience. She completed Internal Medicine training at Brookdale University Hospital Brooklyn NY and Saint Peter’s University Hospital New Brunswick NJ. She worked at Sanford Medical Center, Fargo ND as a hospital medicine physician for a number of years before proceeding to Mass General Brigham Hospital Boston, MA for Addiction Medicine training where she subsequently served as a Harvard Medical School Faculty for a number of years.
Dr. Gbujie is very passionate about helping individuals start and remain on their recovery journey. She has extensive experience working with national leaders in the Addiction care space. With a background in public health and business administration, her approach is robust and creative leading to measurable patient progress.

Paula Joaquin
Paula Joaquin received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts and her Master of Social Work from Simmons College and is a board certified Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker.
She worked in the Boston Public School System before starting her own business as well as becoming a Director of Operations for a group counseling practice, Colony Care, Inc in Wellesley, MA. Ms. Joaquin also worked at The Justice Resource Institute in Attleboro, MA supporting families with counseling. Ms Joaquin supported families with case management and counseling for the unhoused at The House of Hope in Warwick, RI.
Additionally, Ms Joaquin has supported people in the Addiction Recovery Program at the Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital in Jamaica Plain, MA, Bournewood Hospital in Chestnut Hill, MA. and also as an outpatient therapist and Clinical Manager of the Integrated Behavioral Healthcare Department at Boston Medical Center for Greater Roslindale Medical and Dental Center. Ms. Joaquin works with children, adolescents and adults. Ms. Joaquin specializes in the treatment of substance use, depression, anxiety as well as concerns regarding interpersonal relationships, adjustment, stress, self-esteem and parenting skills. Ms. Joaquin is trained in EMDR and Trauma Release work and utilizes mindfulness to benefit her clients.
